Effective date: August 29, 2026
Purple Trunk is a beverage alcohol brand intended for adults of legal purchase age. This Privacy Policy explains how Sector 16 LLC, doing business as Purple Trunk (“Purple Trunk,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information when you visit drinkpurpletrunk.com or interact with a website feature that links to this Policy (collectively, the “Site”).
This Policy is written for a United States marketing website. The Site does not currently process alcohol purchases, maintain customer accounts, run an SMS program, use advertising-retargeting pixels, or collect precise geolocation, payment-card, or consumer health information. If our practices change, we will update this Policy before or when the new practice begins, as required by law.
The Site and our marketing communications are intended only for people who are at least 21 years old. We use an age affirmation screen before allowing access to the Site. The recommended age-gate implementation calculates eligibility in your browser and stores only a temporary pass/fail indicator; it does not send or retain your full date of birth. Please do not submit personal information if you are under 21.
The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If we learn that we collected personal information from a person under 13, we will delete it. A parent or guardian may contact us using the information in the “Contact Us” section below.
Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect the following categories of personal information:
Please do not send us sensitive personal information through the Site, including government identification numbers, financial account information, passwords, precise geolocation, medical information, health conditions, allergies, or other consumer health data.
We collect personal information:
We may use personal information to:
We use cookies and similar technologies for the following purposes:
Google Analytics generally uses first-party cookies, including:
| Cookie | Purpose | Default duration |
|---|---|---|
_ga | Distinguishes visitors. | Up to 2 years |
_ga_<container-id> | Maintains session state. | Up to 2 years |
Actual cookie duration may be shorter because of our configuration, your browser settings, or browser-imposed limits. Google receives and processes the analytics information generated through the Site under its own terms and policies. For more information, review How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services and Google’s Privacy Policy.
We currently use Google Analytics for audience measurement and Site improvement. Subject to applicable law and the notices and choices described in this Policy, we may in the future enable optional Google Analytics or Google advertising features, such as Google Signals, advertising reporting, Google Ads integrations, conversion measurement, audience creation, remarketing, or ad personalization. If enabled, these features may allow Google and us to use cookies, device or advertising identifiers, Site activity, inferred interests, and information associated with a visitor’s signed-in Google account (depending on the visitor’s Google settings) for cross-device reporting, advertising measurement, audience services, remarketing, or personalized or non-personalized advertising.
We do not intentionally send Google information that directly identifies you, such as your name or email address. Before enabling an optional feature that materially changes how personal information is collected, used, or disclosed, we will update this Policy and provide any notice, consent mechanism, opt-out right, or other choice required by applicable law. The inclusion of this description does not eliminate those obligations or mean that every feature described above is currently active.
Where applicable law requires consent for analytics cookies, we will request that consent before activating them. You can also control or delete cookies through your browser. To prevent Google Analytics from using your activity, you may install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on. If we provide a “Cookie Settings” or similar control on the Site, you may use it to change your analytics choice at any time.
If we introduce advertising, remarketing, or other cross-site tracking, we will provide any legally required notice and choices before or when that practice begins.
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” setting. Because there is no generally accepted standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, the Site does not respond to them. We do, however, process legally recognized browser-based opt-out signals, such as Global Privacy Control, when required by applicable law. Because we do not currently sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral or targeted advertising, such a signal does not change our present practices. If our practices change, we will treat legally recognized opt-out signals as requests to opt out where required by applicable law.
Google may collect Site activity directly through Google Analytics technology deployed on the Site, but we do not currently permit third-party advertising networks to collect your activity over time and across unrelated websites for behavioral advertising.
We may disclose personal information to the following categories of recipients:
We do not currently sell personal information for money. As of the effective date, we also do not “share” personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or process it for targeted advertising as those terms are defined by applicable state privacy laws. We do not knowingly sell or share personal information of anyone under 16.
If we later use advertising, remarketing, audience-matching, or similar technology in a way that constitutes a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising under applicable law, we will update this Policy and provide any required “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information,” targeted-advertising opt-out, consent mechanism, or other legally required choice before or when that practice begins.
We retain personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:
We may retain aggregated or deidentified information that cannot reasonably be linked to you.
You may:
Depending on where you live and whether a particular privacy law applies to us, you may have additional rights to confirm processing, obtain a portable copy, opt out of certain sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or profiling, and limit certain uses of sensitive personal information. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
To submit a request, email info@drinkpurpletrunk.com with the subject “Privacy Request.” Please describe your request and the email address you used with us. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity and authority. We will use information provided for verification only for that purpose. Authorized agents may submit requests where permitted by law, but we may require proof of authority and direct verification with the consumer.
The Site is not designed to collect consumer health data, and we ask you not to provide it. We do not use health quizzes, health-condition targeting, precise-location tracking around health facilities, or dietary/allergy profiles. If we later offer a feature that collects consumer health data, we will obtain any required consent and publish a separate Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy before collecting that data.
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed for the nature of the information we process. No transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send sensitive information through ordinary email or Site forms.
The Site may link to licensed retailers, social networks, maps, videos, or other third-party services. Those parties may collect information under their own policies. We do not control their privacy practices, and this Policy does not apply to them. Review their policies before providing personal information or making a purchase.
The Site is operated for a United States audience. If you access it from another country, your information may be processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ. The availability of the Site outside the United States does not mean that we offer products or services in every jurisdiction.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal obligations. We will post the updated Policy on the Site and revise the effective date. If a change is material, we will provide additional notice appropriate to the change, such as a prominent Site notice or email to subscribers, when required by law.
